MediaSolv Assisting Top Law Enforcement Agencies Increase Convictions
HERNDON, VA – August 24, 2009 – MediaSolv Solutions Corp. (MediaSolv), the leading provider of Video Interview Solutions (VIS), announced today that it has completed the installation of its Digital Video Interview Management System for the City of Newport News Police Department.
Newport News' use of MediaSolv's enterprise system connects five general interview rooms, one "soft: interview room and two polygraph rooms located within the agency headquarters building. The solution that includes software, hardware and support services to deliver an integrated digital evidence management (iDEM) system for a "collar to conviction" program. The MediaSolv solution provides functionality to ingest, manage and process digital video recordings simultaneously from all interview rooms via a centralized server-based, network-accessible system. In addition, a DVD production system located at the Newport News District Attorney's office allows for remote access and DVD production of recorded interview for courtroom use.
